Top 3 Tips for Protecting Wrought Iron Work
1. Annual Maintenance
How often your ironwork will require some maintenance will depend on local conditions, but we recommend checking your ironworks at least once a year.
2. Keep it clean and clear
Debris such as leaves can trap water and set the iron hitch, so clean up fallen leaves or other debris as soon as you see them. Also, periodically wipe the iron with a damp cloth to remove dust, cobwebs and dirt.
3. Retouch
During your maintenance checks, if you notice any nicks or scratches in the paint, touch up as soon as possible.
